Reserve at Lake Keowee Community

The Reserve at Lake Keowee is another excellent option for mountain living in South Carolina.

Located outside of Sunset, South Carolina, in the northwestern corner of the state the Reserve at Lake Keowee has thirty miles of shoreline along Lake Keowee within the community.

You can enjoy the lake and the  mountain views with kayaks provided by the community and through a planned marina.

Golfers will love the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus course, with its pro-shop, driving range and putting green.

The Reserve at Lake Keowee community in South Carolina is 3,900 acres, with only 1,250 residences planned, ensuring the quality of the land stays as pristine as it is now.

You can explore the community on the 5 and a half miles of trails, and 400 acres of the community have been placed in a perpetual conservation easement.

There are four, lighted, Har-Tru tennis courts, and a racquet club, two clubhouses with dining facilities, and a pool pavilion with a resort-style adult pool with fountains, and a kiddie pool the adults may want to hang out in, with its sloping entry, waterfalls, and grottos.

You can really make a day of it with the poolside grills. Community celebrations are held on the “Great Lawn,” and you can take care of basic needs in the “Village Center” with its meeting house, post office, general store, and live and work spaces.
