Sea Pines Community

Heading to the coast, it is my pleasure to highlight the community of Sea Pines, which is the sister property of the community on Kiawah Island.

Located on renowned Hilton Head Island, the community of Sea Pines has no lack of beautiful views and sunny days.

Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, George Cobb, and Arnold Palmer designed the four 18-hole courses. Pete Dye designed the Harbour Town course which made Zagat’s list of America’s Top Golf Courses as the fourth best course in South Carolina. And, Sea Pines won the Silver Medal of Premier Resorts of 2010 by Golf Magazine.

The community is filled with a huge amount of amenities. There are 23 tennis courts, with lessons from USPTA pros and tournaments.

If golfing isn't how you spend all your leisure time, you can enjoy the bike and riding trails through a 605 acre nature preserve.

Or spend the afternoon or evening particpating in one of the clubs and activities organized by the Homeowners Association, including antiques club, cards, crafts, book club, and many seasonal events.

The Sea Pines community offers two full service marinas with storage; fishing and crabbing in the lagoons and marshes located within the community.

Enjoy the resort style facilities with restaurants, pools, and a fitness center; a community garden is available, as are horses to take tours of the property on.

Finally, a Beach Club with locker rooms, umbrella and chair rentals, eco-tours on kayaks, and retail and commercial space.

People sometimes complain about the traffic getting on and off of Hilton Head Island, but if you live at Sea Pines, you’ll have little reason to leave.
