South Carolina Golf Communities
Golf… for some it’s a casual interest, for others a serious hobby, and for some it’s a full blown obsession.
Whether you’ve got just a little itch, or a full blown twitch, living at a South Carolina golf community can help you scratch it.
For some people, there’s no better perk of living in a master planned community than knowing right outside your door there are 18-holes of challenging approaches and tricky greens to navigate.
With South Carolina’s climate, living in a golf community really pays off, as you’ll be able to play nearly year round.
Since I’ve mentioned it a couple of times, it seems only fair to give you the full top five courses from “Zagat’s America’s Top Golf Courses 2007-2008”. They are Kiawah Island’s Ocean course, outside Charleston, Caledonia Golf and Fish Club course in Pawleys Island, the Tidewater course in Myrtle Beach, Sea Pine’s Harbour Town course in Hilton Head, and the Links course at the Wild Dunes community in Charleston.
Some golfers are apt to say new golf balls are magnetic to water, and the more expensive the ball, the more magnetic it is. Well, I say, if golf courses have a magnetic hold over you, any one of these communities will be a great place to live and play.
South Carolina has plenty of other communities with great courses, great amenities, and wonderful quality of life.
