Grande Dunes Community
The Myrtle Beach area is a longstanding favorite for people heading to South Carolina, for good reason.
There are plenty of attractions, good access to medical care, and an airport for travel.
Grande Dunes is one of the best communities in the Myrtle Beach area, and a good bet for anyone looking for a South Carolina coastal community.
There are options for undeveloped homesites, single family homes, and condos. Grande Dunes caters to vacationers, as well as permanent residents, and because of this, there are some amenities available that you might not find at other communities.
The first is a Marriott Resort on the property, which is home to the Hibiscus Spa. Residents may find the Marriott convenient for out of town guests, or for themselves if they are having renovations done to their homes.
There are ten Har-Tru tennis courts at the Tennis Club which also has a pro-shop, pool, and fitness center. There are two golf courses, one private, designed by Roger Rulewich, and one private course with a caddy program.
Grande Dunes has properties on either side of the Intracoastal Waterway, and along the Atlantic.
There is a 130 slip marina on the Intracoastal Waterway, with a marina village and inn.
Residents enjoy two clubhouses, a 25,000 square foot Ocean Club with a bar and restaurant, and a 27,000 square foot Golf Members Club with a restaurant and library.
Throughout the year there are assorted planned events, such as Pro-Am golf tournaments, Halloween parties, dinners, and social events.
Grande Dunes is online at www.grandedunes.com.
