Preserve at Little Pine
If you don’t need as many amenities, but still want a beautiful setting with peace and quiet nestled in the North Carolina mountains, it’s hard to beat the Preserve at Little Pine.
Located in the woods, about 12 miles outside of Marshall, and 30 miles from Asheville NC, Little Pines encompasses 1,800 acres, with only 140 homes planned.
The philosophy of the Preserve at Little Pine is not to make the largest profit off the land, but to protect it and provide a beautiful setting for future generations to enjoy, and 80% of the community is set aside in preservation managed by the Smoky Mountain National Land Trust.
Residents may enjoy this land roaming on 20 miles of nature and bike trails, kayaking, canoeing and fishing in the ponds and streams, and camping in groomed campsites.
If you’re up for a higher adrenaline quotient, you may want to use the ATV (all terrain vehicle) trails, or try your paddle at white water rafting and the Equestrian Center across the street, where you can ride till your hearts content.
