Easley, South Carolina Best Places To Live

Living in Easley South Carolina affords you many options.
In the immediate area, you’ll be able to choose between the cities of Greenville SC and Spartanburg SC, or the smaller towns of Clemson SC and Seneca SC.
If you like sports, Easley’s a great place to live. A new minor league baseball team just moved to Greenville SC, and Clemson University consistently fields a competitive football team, which plays in a stadium that holds up to 80,000 people.
Easley SC has served as the host for the Big League World Series for the last six years.
Located about a half hour west of Greenville SC and a half hour east of Clemson SC, Easley is in the fast growing I-85 corridor, with access to several great cities within a couple hours drive.
Columbia SC is only two hours southeast, while Asheville NC is only an hour and a half north and Charlotte NC is about two hours northeast. Cultural attractions have their place in Easley as well.
A 63,000 square foot two story library was recently built, complete with a coffee shop. The Foothills Playhouse has been creating community theater for over twenty years, and presents six shows a year.
Pickens County is home to the highest point in South Carolina, Sassafras Mountain, which has an elevation of 3,548 feet.
Within an hour drive, you can visit Lake Keowee or Lake Jocassee, both of which are framed by mountains and offer beautiful waters for swimming, boating, and fishing.
