Clemson, South Carolina
The city of Clemson South Carolina has a great sense of history to it, as well as plenty of dining and shopping options to keep most anyone happy.
In addition to I-85 running through the area, Clemson has a good amount of access roads to other parts of South Carolina.
Anderson SC is thirty minutes away, Greenville SC is only fifty minutes to the east, and Atlanta GA is a two hour drive south.
You will also be only an hour south of the great towns in the western North Carolina mountains, such as Cashiers NC and Brevard NC.
Located in the northwest corner of the state, outside of the Greenville-Spartanburg metro area, Clemson South Carolina is best known for Clemson University which more than doubles the population of the town while school is in session.
Clemson has a population of 12,000 people and is located in Pickens County South Carolina, which has a total population of 119,000 people.
Driving along the winding roads of the countryside around the town, you'll find many rivers, lakes and creeks that run through the rolling hills and forests.
What you won't find are the traffic snarls that hinder other towns.
