The streets of Conway South Carolina, lined with moss covered oaks, have earned the distinction of Tree City USA, for the past eighteen years. Conway has an embracing small town atmosphere, with residents proud of their family values.

Conway has a population of 11,788 people and is the county seat of Horry County South Carolina, which has a total population of 210,757 people.  Conway is located right along route 501, which runs into Myrtle Beach SC, about twenty minutes away.

Other nearby towns and cities include Georgetown SC, which is an hour away, Florence SC is about an hour and fifteen minutes to the west, and the beach resort of Wilmington NC is just a little under two hours drive north.

Residents are able to enjoy close proximity to the beach, while avoiding some of the major pitfalls. As Conway is located about fifteen miles inland, it escapes some of the damage done by the hurricanes, and some of the congestion and commercialization caused by tourists visiting Myrtle Beach.
