It is approximately 15 minutes to Morganton NC, and approximately 23 minutes to Hickory.

Sitting in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Valdese NC is also in a great position to access several larger cities.

Asheville NC and the mountains are just over an hour to the west, Charlotte NC is about an hour and fifteen minutes south, and Winston-Salem NC is about an hour and a half east.

In addition, the towns of Boone NC, Blowing Rock NC and Banner-Elk NC are only about an hour away.

Valdese has a population of about 4,500 people, and is located in Burke County North Carolina, which has a total population of about 89,657 people. The median housing cost in Valdese is approximately $82,500.
