Completing North Carolina's Piedmont Triad along with Greensboro and Winston-Salem, is High Point North Carolina, home to one of the biggest furniture industries in the world.

Over 125 manufacturers and more than 60 retail discount stores make their home in the Highpoint area.
In the hills and valleys around High Point NC, there are lakes, golf courses and more for outdoor activities.

To the south of the city is High Rock Lake and the lands of the Uwharrie National Forest.

High Point has a population of 103,396 people and is located in Guilford County North Carolina, which has a total population of 180,362 people.

Location is one of High Point NC strengths.  I-40 runs east and west, while I-85 heads to the north and the south.  Along with Route 52 meeting near the city center, any direction is easily accessed.

Within twenty minutes, you can be in Greensboro NC or Winston-Salem NC, Raleigh NC and the Research Triangle are only about an hour and forty minutes away, Boone NC and the mountains are two hours away, Asheville NC is about two hours and forty minutes west, and the beaches around Wilmington NC are a four hour drive.
