Comments on Best Places Live North Carolina Piedmont
I've been looking into moving to Apex NC. for several years but have reservations about the area; 1. too far from the beach and 2. lacks a small town feel/main street. I'm now looking into the Wilmington area. I currently live by the shore on Long Island and am really looking for the same thing w/the opportunity to buy a house, too much $$ here. Schools and job (education) availability are very important. What do you suggest?
I like the Wilmington area a lot!
However, remember any time you're on the water (or even near it), prices increase dramatically.
I originally come from Long Island, so I know what you mean.
Try New Bern, NC which is northeast of Wilmington.
