Southport North Carolina is a picturesque city, serving as a gateway for many ocean faring commercial vessels as they head up to the state ports in Wilmington NC.
Several movies have been filmed in and around Southport, serving as further testament to its beauty.
The town has a true downtown area, made up of a bit more than five blocks packed with antique shops, galleries, fine restaurants, snug cafes and cute boutiques.
