However, it’s time to get to some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.

While we’re here we’ll be taking a closer look at small towns along the South Carolina Coast Best Places To Live.

Not only does Myrtle Beach SC boast its beautiful beaches but the large number of tourists each year can be attributed to the numerous variety of things to do.  You’ll find theme parks, restaurants and other attractions.  Myrtle Beach SC is also a popular vacation spot in the summer for college students.

I’m sure you have heard the term “snow bird. ” Myrtle Beach SC has its share of people wanting to get away from the cold and snow in the winter.

As of the 2010 census, the population of Myrtle Beach was 27,109, and the number continues to grow as people seek to move to warmer climates.

Myrtle Beach is the largest and most developed area in the Grand Strand Beaches.

Shoppers will rejoice, as Myrtle Beach SC is also home to the largest mall in the entire state.  The Myrtle Beach State Park is also the oldest state park in South Carolina.

If you have young children or grandchildren, Myrtle Beach SC is also home to the Ripken Experience, one of the best youth sports facilities in the country.

Since Myrtle Beach is only a small part of the Grand Strand Beaches, let’s dive in and learn a bit more about this enormous stretch of beautiful South Carolina beaches!
